Pick your Own
Come up to Meliora Farm and experience the joy of picking your own fruit.
Breathe in the fresh air. Smell the citrus. Taste our sweet and juicy oranges straight from the trees as we do not use any insecticides on our citrus.
As third generation farmers we guarantee you will love our delicious fresh produce and enjoy our warm country style hospitality. Discover the perfect blend of quality, value and wholesome fun in our orchard – where every visit is filled with moments to treasure.
We are only open for pick your own fruit experiences on selected weekends. Open days are published in the adjacent box. Make a booking. Gates open 10am till 3pm. Come anytime between the open hours.
Bookings are preferred but not necessary, just so we know how many visitors to expect on the day. Walk-ins are very welcome. Please note we are only open on the selected dates published in the adjacent box.
Free entry to the farm.
Our farm is located at 1504 Peats Ridge Rd Peats Ridge on the Central Coast of NSW. We are approximately one hour north of Sydney. Look out for the orange OPEN signs on our farm gate. Follow the marked driveway out to the parking area.
As a guide $30.00 per family or group. We supply you with a Meliora Farm picking bag. You can fill it up with a variety of citrus (oranges, mandarins,lemons, limes,cumquats), whatever is in season on the day. The bag will fit 10kg of fruit in it. Our farm experience is great value for money. We guarantee you will love our delicious fresh produce and enjoy our country style hospitality. You are welcome to bring a picnic and spend some time is our charming orchard.
You can purchase additional picking bags at $30 per bag. No picking bags to be taken into the orchard other then the Meliora Farm bag.
Hass avocados are available to pick from the end of August until December. They are delicious. We charge $2.00 per avocado.
Yes we do. This area has unreliable mobile and internet services. Cash is always accepted.
Fruit sales are our income and it takes all year to prepare just one crop. Please be respectful by only picking from the designated block and only picking what you are prepared to buy.
Please wear comfortable enclosed footwear, suitable for walking on uneven ground. If it has been raining, gumboots are the best option.
Yes we have a portaloo facility. Its basic as we are located in the orchards in the middle of our farm.
There are toilet facilities located at the nearby Peats Ridge village shops.
Farm Tours
Tim would love to show you around our farm and answer any of your farming questions.
With all of the tours we keep the group small (up to 20) so that everyone has a chance to ask questions and join in the discussions.
Guided tours go for approximately 1 hour and you will have the opportunity to pick in season produce.
Cost is $20 per person. Minimum of 8 people.
Times can be flexible but generally 10am or 2pm. Weekdays only.

Important Notes
- The safety of our visitors and staff is a high priority and a responsibility shared by every person visiting the farm. Inconsiderate behaviour will not be tolerated.
- The picking of fruit and any other activities you enjoy are done so at your own risk.
- Adults who bring children to the farm irrevocably and unconditionally agree that they are wholly responsible for the care, supervision, actions and the safety of the children.
- No pets allowed.
- Particular supervision is required to prevent access to any of the waterways/creeks and dams on the property.
- Any person or persons who is at risk of bee allergy are suggested not to attend the farm for their own personal safety.
- Visitors are not permitted to use any farm equipment or climb trees.
- Our farm is located on a main road where the speed is 100kmph, so please be careful when entering and exiting the farm driveway as oncoming traffic will be travelling at high speeds.
